John Jolley All three of these mixes are superb - the VHS mix just happens to be in the headphones currently, I’m honestly hard pressed to choose. Utterly gorgeous, lush, powerful synth music. Ambient in the way that side 2 of Bowie’s “Low” is ambient; majestic, highly emotive, deeply evocative, and demanding of the listener’s complete attention.

I never had a strong connection to Van Halen’s work, but I have been encouraged to try a little harder and dig a little deeper thanks to this tribute, Favorite track: 1984 (Hypox1a VHS Version).
